*Call to Worship                                                                          Colin Holtz

One:            Sing alleluia, for Christ is risen!

Many:       He is risen indeed.

One:            “Do not be afraid,” said the angel to the women at the tomb.

Many:       Sing alleluia, for death has been defeated.

One:            “Do not be afraid,” said Jesus to his disciples.

Many:       Sing alleluia, for God’s love has triumphed.

One:            We sing with joy, for there is nothing – not even death – that can separate us from God’s love.

Many:       Sing alleluia, for God has cast down the powers that be.

One:            With a word of comfort, a word of hope,

Many:       With a word of love:

One:            Christ is risen!

Many:       He is risen indeed!

One:            Let us rejoice and give thanks.

All:           Amen.
